Selank

Originally developed in Russia, Selank is a short, heptapeptide which serves as a synthetic counterpart to tuftsin, which is a naturally occurring immunomodulatory compound that regulates T helper cells, interleukin (IL) 6, monoamine neurotransmitters and others. In animal studies, Selank has also been shown to elevate the expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factors and even affect serotonin metabolism.

Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place. The shelf life while in lyophilized powder is ~24 months. Once reconstituted (if required), refrigerate at 36°F – 46°F and utilize for research within 65–70 days.
